Purlin Forming Machine for Different Requirements

Manual adjust roll forming machine for C or Z purlin, manually adjust the spacer, change the cutting blade, to change the sizes of purlins.
Pre-Cutting C Purlin Roll Forming Machine with manual adjust spacers. Only need to adjust the spacers, but the ends of C purlin will be a bit deformed.

Purlin Machine Components

The main structures of the purlin roll machine work in a non-stop sequence. When the material is inserted into the machine, the machine continuously finds its way via all the stages of the operation. The end of the process produces a final and complete product. The purlin roll machine is designed with uncoiler, forming line,cut-off and punching device, PLC control part and hydraulic pump station.

Uncoiler is a unique tool used to level line steel plates. It can perform shearing production, levelling, and uncoiling and can also be configured to perform other sheet product production lines.The uncoiler part of the purlin forming machine is the gadget responsible for providing sheet materials and storing unwinding materials. It also firmly delivers the steel coils to the forming production line chamber.

The cutting part comprises a shearing machine and a fixed-length tool. The fixed-length device controls the length via encoding. The produced C or Z purlin is cut, and the stamping is completed when the purlin reaches a specific length.

Purlin classifications

Purlins can be classified into different types based on the shapes: Channel sections, with or without flange stiffeners, we named C Purlin. C purlin without lips, we named U Purlin. And point symmetric sections that are shaped similar to the letter Z are referenced as Z shapes, we named Z Purlin.

Even the automation of gapping the roll tooling for different thicknesses can be added so that your operator does not have to adjust the top shaft for material thickness changes.
